Lady Fi’s love affair with music began early, from high school musicals and the Schools Spectacular with John Foreman, to joining chart-toppers Swoop (Apple Eyes) at university. She soon fell in love with Latin music, fronting salsa bands across Sydney, holding a residency at La Campana, and lighting up festivals with her 12-piece outfit Bandida, who released the salsa CD Deseada. Later, she explored Cuban timba with Son Veneno, showcasing her versatility and dynamic stage presence.

Today, Lady Fi’s passion for soul, RnB, blues, and jazz shines through with Groove Pilot — where her powerhouse vocals and infectious energy guarantee that the groove never ends.

Clive Hodder is an exceptional drummer and former music teacher with an extensive career, having performed with Andy Gibb and The Choirboys (Vela), and even jamming with legends like Santana and Joe Cocker. Holding a Bachelor of Music and decades of experience, Clive not only knows his craft but also has a unique talent for bringing a band together.

Omar Abidin is a highly sought-after freelance guitarist whose diverse and original style draws inspiration from legends like Eric Clapton, Wes Montgomery, and George Benson. Blending Jazz, Reggae, Funk, Blues, and Rock, Omar has forged a unique voice on the guitar that leaves audiences wanting more.

With over 20 years of professional experience, he has performed everywhere from The Basement to the NSW Art Gallery, becoming a consistent presence at corporate events, weddings, and Sydney’s premier venues. An exciting performer and dedicated teacher, Omar continues to collaborate with some of Sydney’s finest musicians while exploring new musical landscapes that showcase his distinctive artistry and passion for the guitar.

Orla Birkett is a pianist from Ireland, classically trained, with a genuine love and passion for performing music, and playing alongside talented musicians alike. She studied music in the Royal Irish Academy of Music from the age of 7, and moved to Australia shortly after graduating from college, in 2022. Since then she has been enamoured by not only the very active music scene in Aus, but of course the better weather it has to offer!

UK-born bassist Dave Howell has performed everywhere from London’s Marquee Club to Glastonbury, SXSW and BBC sessions, recording four albums with indie star Piney Gir. Since moving to Sydney in 2010, he’s become a sought-after and versatile player, collaborating with artists across jazz, funk, soul, roots and indie including Tanya Bowra, Azadoota, Green Hand Band and more.
